Miss SAKE 2016

Miss SAKE, the annual contest to find an ambassador for Japan which will present and market sake but also Japanese culture and history to different countries all around the world. The contest was held in March 2016 in Kyoto. Winner 2016 was Ms. Sayuri Tanaka from Nagasaki.

In May 16 2016 Hon. Consul General of Japan Leif Almo, also founder of Saketest.com, met the CEO of the Miss Sake contest Nobuaki Aiba, Miss Sake 2016 Ms. Sayuri Tanaka and Dr. Tadao Kobayashi, Kyoto, at Hotel New Otani in Tokyo. Mr. Almö congratulated Ms. Tanaka for her victory and Mr. Aiba for a well implemented contest.

Mr. Aiba presented his very dynamic and creative ideas of how to market sake from a global point of view. He also presented how to make the Miss Sake contest a global event at all the five continents.
